I've successfully removed pen marks with Fast Orange. I'm sure there are other effective products as well. Make sure you follow with a leather conditioner if you use Fast Orange.

Some people recommend hairspray. It's the alcohol in the hairspray that acts as a solvent on the ink. Be sure to read the label on any hairspray you wish to use. I have used anhydrous isopropyl alchohol to remove inkstains.

I poured the anhydrous isopropyl alchohol onto the corner of a clean 100% cotton towel and rubbed the ink mark quickly, but lightly. It took 30 seconds for the ink to disappear. I immediately followed up with a liberal application of leather conditioner.

Good luck.
