Default Where to get a decent da

Or orbital for cutting, buffing etc.? I should say where to GO buy it, I can't stand doing mail order.

Unless you've got a local detailing supply store, your options will be pretty limited. I have never seen a selection of decent polishers at any usual auto parts store.

Your best bet is online.

You could always pick up a cheap harbor freight DA, however they are very noisy and vibrate like made (most lower priced DA's do though). I am pretty sure you can pick up a Porter Cable from Lowes though also.

Where are you going to buy all your pads and polishes? You're gonna waste alot more time running around little stores in your city trying to find this stuff than just ordering everything from one place like Detailed Image or Detailers Domain. Plus, you'll pay way more at the store for something like M205/105 than ordering it online.

Times have changed, online is the way to go. Nobody stocks the good stuff over the counter.

Are you in a rush to buy? A good DA polisher isn't 'cheap' and it's worth buying online if it means you get a better product.

If you must buy one locally, then it would help to know where you live. WA is a pretty big state.

I would recommend buying from an online detailing store to get the best variety of products. It sucks that most of the good ones are on the east coast, so shipping takes a week.

Whenever I need common products in a rush, I order through amazon prime. I think you can get a porter cable 7424xp with 1 day shipping.

Harbor Freight may have a decent polisher... it's worth a try. that is if you have one near you. Summit Racing also... again, that is if there is one near you.
