Default Removing Scratches and painting rock chips

Hi All,
New to the forum and to Lexus. I just bought a 2007 RX 350 can't seem to find a forum set aside just for that model in your database. The car is
Breakwater Blue Metallic where can i get a bottle of touchup paint/?
Can i get it at any Toyota Dealer or do i need to go to a Lexus Dealer.
I have a nice buffer and pads just never used it and heard you can do some damage if you do not have experience.
Thanks Dan

You can obtain touch up paint at a Lexus dealer or a variety of places online.

As far as using your buffer, the risk of damage depends on the type of machine you're using. What tool and products do you have?

Hi Zach,
I have been taking pictures of my machine and products so you could help me. We just bought a 2007 Lexus RX 350 yesterday with 84,300 miles for 13K. It is really nice inside and out. But, I do have some rock chips on the front right above the light and a light scratch on the one side. I will take some pics and show you. I bought this for my wife and she really loves it. Thanks for your help.

Pics of scrathes or chips?

Depending on what youll be doing, I wont go into detail on the steps to take yet.
First off, the touch up paint will likely be noticeable where applied.
the m105 compound cuts aggressivley so dont just use that, it needs to be followed up by a polish and swirl remover or glaze.

Your buffer will work, but it will leave swirl marks. They will have to be removed with a DA buffer and swirl remover.
I cant see the names of the other products or their uses.

Are you wanting to fill in the rock chips/scratches with touch up spray can or a touch up pen?
Can you feel the scratch if you drag your finger nail along it?

Pads vary in color.
Yellow/orange for compound.
Blue/green polish
Black for finish.
