Default 2016 GS 350 F-Sport front bumper

Any special advice for cleaning the front grill on a 2016 GS 350 F-Sport? I've been thinking about this for a few weeks now, and I'm hoping someone here has some pro tips regarding this since the grill is like a huge mesh piece that is not smooth or flat. I searched around on the forum but didn't see any posts about this. I'm planning on a full detail next weekend, and I'd def take into account any advise I get from here. Thanks in advance

The grill on the front bumper in question...

A microfiber wash mitt or wool wash mitt will get into some of the crevices... then we will use a boar's hair brush to really get into each opening.

Audi's have the same type of grille... we typically get in there with the brush when the car is covered with foam. Makes it quick and easy to break up the dirt in there.

Thanks for the quick reply, I don't have that boar's brush yet but that's the first thing I'm buying today. Thanks again Zach!

Keep in mind the key to keeping this style of grill clean is making sure it is dried thoroughly. After proper cleaning, dry it to avoid those dreaded waterspots that hide in the corners of that grill. For this I highly recommend the Metrovac Air Blaster, just $162 with free shipping from Amazon!

I concur. This is the best application for a spray-on hydrophobic protector!

Thanks for the responses! I'm guessing the wife's Revlon variable speed hair dryer from 2012 isn't going to give the same results...

Hey, since that'll take 10X longer there's nothing wrong with getting a tan while cleaning the car!

Even though we have an 8HP master blaster, we still use our Side Kick Blower quite often for simply blowing out cracks & crevices when I don't want to hook up the Master Blaster. I highly recommend the Metro Side Kick!
