Default Could use help choosing a detail spray

I plan on ordering a detail spray to use between cleanings - dust removal, etc. Are there some I should place at the top of my list? Are there others I should avoid at all cost? Anyone have a comment about Meguiar's Quik Detailer Mist & Wipe?

Mequires streaks really bad (for me).. Checkout Autogeek.net they carry a lot and have good reviews of the products. I like the Blackfire line myself.

I've never had a detail spray streak on me when used properly. The typical causes of streaking are using too much product and using it on a warm surface.

Meguiar's is fine. If you wanted to try something with added protection you could consider Sonax brilliant shine detailer. It beads water like crazy! I really like it.

Here's a quick article I wrote on the Sonax Brilliant Shine Detailer:

Sonax Brilliant Shine or Optimum Instant Detailer, CG HV7... can't go wrong with either one.

You could spend a lot more money but you would likely not come up with a better QD than Meguiar's. They invented the QD. I like M135 - Synthetic Spray Detailer from their Professional line. This is very similar to their Ultimate Quik Detailer in their consumer lineup. Another favorite is D155 - Last Touch Detailing Spray from their Detailer line. Their remaining PRO product is M35 - Final Inspection which is body shop safe.
