Default Best cleaning kits for exterior/interior?

What products do you guys like to use to get your car looking all nice and clean? Are some safer than others to use long term?

Hey,

Proper car maintenance comes from knowledge of the safest/correct processes and use of high quality products.

Please read this article that will thoroughly explain the 3 bucket wash method. This process is crucial as it will help to prevent introducing wash induced marring and swirls. This method works by reducing the contamination in your washing water, so it is less likely that you will be rubbing dirty particles on your paint.

It is also important to protect your paint from the elements. This is traditionally done with a natural carnauba wax or a synthetic polymer sealant. Click HERE to read an article I wrote about protecting your vehicle.

HERE is a complete guide to detailing. Please read and understand it if you wish to properly maintain your vehicle.

Here are some great options for routine maintenance:

Wheels & Tires
- Bucket and Grit Guard (package deal)
- Diablo Gel Wheel Cleaner (dilute in separate spray bottle, very cost effective!)
- EZ Detail Brush (perfect for cleaning the inner barrels of your wheels)
- Soft Wheel Brush (perfect for cleaning the faces of your wheels)
- Tuf Shine Tire Cleaner & Tire Brush
- Opti-Bond Tire Dressing (this is a water based tire dressing that will soak into your rubber and help to nourish the rubber and not dry it out like other cheap silicone based products)

Washing & Drying
- Two Buckets and Two Grit Guards (money saving package!)
- Sheepskin Wash Mitt
- Optimum Car Wash (High Quality Shampoo)
- Two (or more) Waffle Weave Microfiber Drying Towels
- Optimum Instant Detailer and Gloss Enhancer (Quick Detail Spray)
- 5 or more Plush Microfiber Towels for use with Quick Detail Spray (high quality microfiber makes all the difference! do not purchase cheap towels from your local auto parts store. If you have them, use them for wheels and exhausts... don't use them on your paint!)

Decontamination
- Fine Grade Clay Bar
- NanoSkin Glide Clay Lubricant (dilute in separate bottle)

Protection
Sealant: Menzerna Power Lock
Wax: Menzerna Color Lock

Please let me know if you have any questions.
