The GS has to remain uncoated or I won't have a test vehicle. All my personal cars are coated, so I rely on my friend's cars for testing.

Good idea

I see some good potential for meguiars hyper dressing on the tires fender wells, or solutions finish on the front fog areas, front lower grilles, and some cure on the upper coated portion of the grille, I usually spray reload the upper portion of Isf plastic coated grill use a mf/brush to wipe? Not sure if the gs comes with black trim for the upper portion or its coated plastic, but it would really make it pop

On a side note have you tried using the eagle edgeless mf for the cure? These things are so durable, soft, and they work great to buff off spray sealants Imo they should be in everyone's arsenal.

That picture is old. It was from the first time I ever applied cure.

I haven't tried the eagle edgeless towels before. I usually apply cure when the car is still wet (it's a wet or dry product) and wipe the car down with my pfm towels.

Which maintenance product do you use on top of the coating?

This applies to the whole car.

Wash
1) clay bar
2) wet sand (only severe areas... I personally had 1)
3) random orbital polisher - CG v line products (32-34) w/ hex logic pads (heavy contamination)
4) random orbital polisher - CG v line products (36-38) w/ hex logic pads (light contamination)
5) finished off with a butter wet wax

done.
*Took around 8hrs.

I was not a huge fan of the CG v line. More internet hype than anything else.

Ah yes i have that one. Another Great Product.. I currently been using McKee's 37 products because they are local and i know the maker of the products but i've always liked CG for many years and still use the sealants, and Carnuba P40 spray wax.

It's a brand that autogeek sells. I believe it's their house brand and was formerly DP (Detailer's Pride).

I've been procrastinating on this LS460L because it looks like it has had a lifetime of automated car washes for the last 10 years.

I was trying out Carpro velvet pads with M100 for orange peel removal on a section of the door, but I wasn't brave enough to continue after 1 pass (panel has been repainted).

I tried M100 with the Carpro flash pad followed by M205 with a Carpro Gloss pad. Topped it off with some Gyeon cure for now.

I didn't know where else to post this. I was killing some time in the garage waiting for my friend to stop by.

All photos are Lake Country white polishing pad + Carpro Essence extreme gloss

I can't wait to try this product on nice paint, and I know my engine bay is in desperate need of a cleaning.
