Where are you located? I'd be happy to try to recommend a professional in your area... I know many of the most talented detailers across the country.

I always like looking through the Detailing threads. I like to think I know what I'm doing and I can make a decent shine, and then I come in here and learn I'm completely incompetent. :-)

It's all good though - I'll just have to send my ride to one of you!

Keep up the good work!

Awesome pics in this thread!

Not the best detailing pic per say and taken with my phone but I like the reflection in this one. I'll have to see if I can take a good pic or two when I clean it up this weekend.

Whats the difference between CarPro HydrO2 and the C Quartz plastic and wheel protection?

They are both hydrophobic I'm assuming. I also assuming that the C Quartz last longer?

CarPro's HydrO2 is a silica based sealant that provides up to 3 months of protection on average and can be applied to nearly any surface (paint, wheels, glass, trim, etc). This product is incredibly quick and easy to use, which is its main selling point.

CarPro's DLUX Plastic & Wheel Coating is a coating (different from a sealant) that contains approximately 50% silica and is much more durable. This product lasts 1+ years on average. I have seen it last over 2 years on trim, and durability on wheels depends greatly on the type of vehicle and on how your wheels are maintained. In any case, this offers a longer term base of protection than HydrO2, but does require more prep work, more time to apply, and it certainly costs more. HydrO2 can be applied over top of DLUX once it has cured for additional protection

^DLUX beading on my wiper cowl... it was applied over 1.5 year before taking this pic.

Let me know if you have any more questions.
