How to clean tires?
#31
+1 for Tuff Shine.
Spend some time (and elbow grease) in the initial prep work - get all the dirt and previous (non-Tuff) tire cleaner/Shine solutions off. And then, use the clear coat (one coat for a non glossy look, and 2-3 for glossy look).
I usually just wash the tires with ONR when I wash the car, and ever 3-4 months of so, I reapply the Tuff clearcoat after the wash.
About OC2.0 on tires - I haven't heard that one yet - maybe they meant on wheels?

Thanks guys. Maybe OC was on the wheels and not tires..pretty possible. I forgot the person that was doing it.
I decided to go with Carpro Perl. I figure I can apply it straight if I want that uber gloss look, and if it doesn't really suit me, then dilute 1:1 which a lot of people seem to like too. I also took into consideration price, and it was $25 vs Tuff Shine @ $40.

Do let us know how it turns out.
The other products that I've tried (besides TUFF) have had slinging issues - where even if I left the car untouched overnight (over 12 hours) after cleaning, it would still end up with some amount of the residue onto the wheels.
I've never tried Carpro Perl, so do share what you find out
* How much of it needs to be used for each application - in other words, how many applications do you get out of one bottle?
* How long does it last on the tire before you need to reapply it?
* Does it cause any residue on the tires?

wax/sealant helps keep water spots off the car also since it will just bead off
