CarPro offers many unique products... Many of which are staples in a professional's arsenal of products.

Do you need CarPro stuuff? Absolutely not. There are tons of excellent brands out there. Find some you like and stick with them.

If you do want to give some CarPro stuff a try, I'm sure you will find something you enjoy.

Let me know if you've got any questions.

thanks for your input Zach. I have not yet tried anything Carpro but i am just surprised by the many people that use their products here and how much its being pushed as the company to shop from. I have been wanting to give Perl a try but im sure if it'll give the wet shine i like.

Only the coolest people use Carpro products! jk Perl is a good product. I have yet to try it on the tires but I love it for my interior. Has a good smell and is a good protectant. Zach did a review on Perl in detailedimage.com check it out!

CarPro PERL is one of my favorite tire dressings. It provides a very dark look to the tires, and does have some of that wet look, but it is much more natural looking than the silicone based ones that just look like someone wrapped the tire in saran wrap.

One of the main reasons I push water based dressings to my customers is because they are simply much better for your tires. Silicone based dressings create a heavy buildup on the rubber which can lead to an even worse look over time.

In this picture, you can see the right side of the tire looks so much better than the left. You can easily see the heavy buildup from years of silicone tire shine on the left side of the tire... the right side has simply been cleaned, no dressing of any kind has been applied yet.

PERL (and other water based dressings) provide a more natural, nourished look (shown here 2:1, waterroduct). And they also help to keep the rubber healthy overtime as the product actually absorbs into the rubber instead of simply sitting on top of it and creating a grimy mess.

Unfortunately most water based dressings do not offer too much in terms of durability, but it only takes a couple minutes to apply a new layer every week or so... so in my opinion, the pros far out weigh the lack of durability.

I use 3 wash mitts to wash my cars: premium (Carpro one) for the top part, regular (Meguairs) for the bottom part and cheap (no name yellow) for the wheels/tires with 2 buckets: one for wash solution and one for rinsing with a grid guard.

I just received 3 more orange pads, 1 pad brush, and 2 3M ducking tapes (not in the picture).

10x15 canopy as a mini detailing center to provide shade and block out dust.

Pictures of my cars (IS250 and IS350) can be found here

I have no incentive to promote any product. As a consumer myself (not a detailer either), I have tried various products from many brands. Carpro turns out to surprise me so much because their products are unique and the results are just extraordinary. Once you give them a try and the results will automatically amaze you. Nothing speaks louder than the results and you just have to see it to believe it.

I have learned it the hard way by wasting so much money testing out a bunch of stuffs and I just share back of what I find to be to excellent products. Carpro happens to have a lot of them.

I'm still testing out many other products as an on-going search for a better things out there.

Dayuuummm!! I love the canopy you got there. I wash my car in the driveway but I have no way to shade it from the sun so I constantly have to keep spraying it down. My next house I build I will probably put a drainage system in the garage. With my car being black water spots come quickly so I may have to try something else. Anybody got any ideas?
