Compound and polishing can often create a lot of dust... this is normal. It should be cleaned off before applying any sealant and/or wax.

Often times the car is wiped down with IPA after polishing, or even completely washed again to ensure the surface is totally clean of polishing residues and dust before applying LSP.

The jeep gets all the normal scratches from being out at the ranch and I detail it about once a year to get the paint back to where it needs to be

I am by no means a professional but I do take pride in my work. Anyone that can pay attention to details and has the time and energy to do this will have cars shining like new and make other people wish they could do the work themselves as well-

Mine also likes black... probably because she has never had to maintain it. Good thing I take care of it for her

From this....

To this.... (after compound only)

To this... (compounding, polishing, then coated with 22ple VX1 Pro)

She said she could actually tell the difference... usually she wonders why I am polishing cars that are "already shiny". Victory!

Okay guys I see y'all. Lets be honest you can get insane reflection shots on a swirled up black car with a glaze and wax. I know that is not the case in these photo's but since my car is MM I cant get shots like that. Here is my car after polishing and 22ple. iphone pic as the sun was going down and did not have a time to grab a real camera.

Auto Glym products are nice however their polishes are more paint cleaners than compounds and polishes
