Default Huper Optik 40% or 50% Tint?

My car is black with saddle interior and I'm looking to install Huper Optik but am having a hard time deciding on how dark/light I want to go. Here are my options:

1) 50% all around including windshield

2) 50% on windshield, all other windows 40%

3) 50% on windshield and all door windows, 40% on rear window

4) 50% on windshield and two front doors, 40% on back to doors and rear window

Now I know that a black car will make tint look darker, but at the same time lighter interior will make tint look lighter so therefore with the colors of my car none of this should apply since they both cancel each other one right?

Does anyone have any photos they can post with HO 40% or 50% tint?

I've searched this forum as well as yahoo/google and still can't decide on the tint. The main reason why I want 50% on the front two windows is because I also want 50% on the windshield and I'd like to have a uniform look while looking out. However, if there isn't much difference from inside looking out between 40% and 50% I might get 40% on the front two doors.

And also, if there isn't much difference from the outside with 50% on the front windows and 40% on the rear windows I might go with that look as well. Like I said, I want to put 50% on the windshield so that will make the 50% on the front windows look a bit darker, perhaps 40-45%?

So would 50% on the windshield, 50% on front two doors, and 40% on rear doors and back window look classy?

HO costs a lot of money this is why I'm over thinking this. I don't want to redo the tint if I don't like the way it looks.

Actually now that I've been thinking about it I think I'm going to go with a lighter film on my windshield, either Huper Optik 60% or even 70%. Does anyone know the Solar Energy Rejected by the Huper Optik 70%? I can't seem to find any info on it.

Also, are Air Blue 80 and 3M Crystalline ceramic or no?

I am glad you brought up this question for two reasons.

a. I am planing on tinting my car as well
b. You are going to look like a good target for cops if you have all same tint all around.

I don't know the answer to your question(s) especially regarding the Solar Energy. But wanted to know why you are asking about it. Are you concerned with light or heat. Considering your state residence (unless it's changed) I doubt you have all that much of sun all year round. In my opinion the windshield should be tinted as least as possible.
I'd like to suggest 90 windshield/70 front/35 all back - depending on what tint you end up picking

For the front windshield, I personally would not go 50%. It's would probably make your car high profile for the cops to pull you over, not to mention it would be more of safety issue during the night.

I would go with Air Blue 80 just like Hulk311 recommended since I use it myself for my front windsheild. No one can tell it's on there because it will only be about a 20% light differnece. With a difference of 20% or less, it is indistinguishable to the eye to tell the difference alone without a comparing to another of the exact same window without the tint or one trying to really find where the tint is on the front windsheild.

I'm with Sango. You don't want to go too dark on the fronts because it is easier to spot from afar. 70-80% will still provide a good deal of VLT and heat rejection. As for the sides, Huper Optik 40% all around isn't bad at all. It is uniform throughout and still gives great rejection and decent privacy.

Ive got huper 40 all around and love it. Keeps the car cool without being to dark, easy to see out of at night and keeps the car classy looking and not thuggish fabulous. It's like a nice pair of sunglasses for the car.
