Default Scratch on front bumper

I somehow got a scratch on my front bumper, not to big maybe 2 in but is white and really sticks out. I was wondering how you can repair this.. some paint sand it down.. etc?

Any help would be appreciated

Try a cotton towel and some wax. It sounds like someone with a white car left a souvenir for you. It may come out with some elbow grease.

I would recommend go with the mildest stuff first. As alexulan said, sometimes some wax on a towel and elbow grease will take care of it. I have had good luck with Meguiar's Scratch-X on stuff like this. Under no circumstances should you go after it with strong stuff like rubbing compound or most polishing compounds, they will dull your paint in a hurry and are very hard to correct.

Good luck!

Let us know how it turns out.

if you use a mild rubbing compound and buff it out afterwards it will look really nice it CAn look really nice and you wont have the scratch there anymore depending on how deep it is

well good luck hope it turns out ok

I got a scratch like that and the detailer used a high speed buffer that heated up the paint. Risky sounding but it did the job. I could barely notice the scratch unless I put a light right next to it.
