Default Air freshener

I have been in love with Yankee Candle Leather and the little Tree Black Ice, but I recently had my windows tinted. The spray blend that the tinter used smelled amazing to me. I am guessing it was diluted J&J Baby Shampoo. But I bought a bottle of it and it doesn't quite smell like it. Does anyone know how to achieve the smell i want?

I just got mine tinted too! Wish WI laws allowed darker than 35/50
Oh well *shrugs*

You should ask them what they used.

I'd like to know as well what are the best air fresheners out there right now for the money. Little tree's are good but last for only 30 days max , are there anything else better than them ?

My preference for a number of years now is Griot's Leather Scent. I put a couple of sprays near each of the rear seat mats after the weekly wash. This weekly regime, combined with my 3-4 times/year use of Zaino Z-10 Leather Conditioner on the seats (it has a leather smell which I like and lasts quite a while) works pretty well for me, even with my Golden Retriever in the backseat much of the time.

I have always used Air Spencer Squash scent, they are pretty expensive about $10 then $5 for a 2 time refill stick. But the smell is amazing, lasts about a month.

I find anything Vanilla scented seems to last the best. Still searching for a great one though...

Since my first car, I've had always switched between Air Spencer Squash and Citrus. Both smell amazing. Squash is my favorite and I used citrus to switch it up. I'm four cars lining and I haven't changed my ways.

My favorite I used a squash one for about 6 or 7 weeks. I only replaced it cause I couldn't smell it as much. People who got in my car said it still smelled strong, but I used air fresheners cause I like the smell The can has 2 sides to it, so the first side was about 4 weeks and then after I opened the second side it smelled stronger again for another few weeks.
I used the cs-x3 before that, and those never seemed to last that long
I also tried the smooth cologne which was good, but its huuuuuge so it has to sit under your seat.

I like Chemical Guys Leather Spray. It leaves one of the most realistic leather odors that I have encountered.

I made a cologne and use that. Same as above, spray on the carpet once or twice after wash and it smells nice for a week.

I just use a pack of charcoal odor absorber. I prefer an odorless clean smell over artificial scents. The only scent I'd go with is leather.
