Default How to disassemble shift ****?

Standard lexus shift ****. I need to disassemble it to change the leather. Is it possible? And how?

If somebody can share the photos of the disassembled **** - it would be great!

Sorry to bring this back from the dead, but I just got a gated shifter with an OEM shift k *** that matches perfectly... but it is a little worn, so i'd like to take it apart and use SEM on it.

I got the chrome piece off the bottom, but aside from that, Im not sure what to do, besides pry the wood piece off...

ANyone chime in on what to do?
