Default Clear coat fading in spots on a new NX

I've had a 16 NX since April and I've already got 5 or 6 spots on the hood above the grill where the clear coat has faded. I can actually feel the indentations. There are also a lot of line scratches. I can't provide pics unfortunately.

After purchase I applied two coats of Liquid Glass and have washed it once a month using the proper hand wash method, and I've wiped off bugs regularly also, so it's really upsetting that I've already got this fading.

I know I should have done a seal instead but I just never got around to that. Still, I don't think the clear coat should be failing like this so soon.

What is the remedy for this? I don't suppose the warranty would repaint and coat the whole hood again would it? If not, what can I do?

I highly doubt the clear coat is failing... unless the car was repainted in areas before you took possession, the likelihood of the paint failing already is very very very low.

Please post some photos. There is no way to help diagnose your issues without seeing the paint.

Where are you located? I can try to recommend a professional detailed in your area to you for a consultation to see if they can help resolve your issues.

The car is on a trip for 12 more days so I will try to post photos then. But there is definitely fading of the top coat(s) and I can feel that it's uneven also. It's all in the bottom half of the hood.

Do you have the factory installed partial clear bra?

Not sure what you mean by "feel the indentations" and fading on front end of the hood. Sounds like a piece of clear bra that is aging worse than the paint.

Or it's hammered with bugs that have etched the clearcoat, but then the entire front end would typically look like that, not just a section on the hood.

In any case, post some pics and we can judge.
