Just a gentle reminder of our forum guidelines on posting and specifically 'where posts go' on Club Lexus. This detailing forum (along with the Lexus model forums and other off-topic forums) is the place for our forum members to create posts in order to ask car care questions, share concerns and discuss ideas. Advertisements and sales belong only in the Vendor Marketplace. The same thing goes for our members who place any for sale items they may have in the classifieds.

The moderator team has been moving a lot of threads from this forum to the marketplace and I'd like to ask for your help in putting your sales posts in the right place. We absolutely want to encourage your participation in discussion topics in this forum, but we also need to maintain some order and keep this detail forum an inviting place for our members to join into discuss car care topics.

We've written up our Vendor posting guidelines and stickied them in the marketplace (linked here)

Threads about sale items
Posts linking to your commerce site
Posts with special promotions

I'd suggest you might want to put links to these items in your signature if you'd like to call our member's attention to them.

Posts that belong in the Detailing Forum
Replies to Club Lexus member detailing questions
Detailed DIYs about car finish care or correction
Threads about using a particular detail product and/or product reviews
"Click and brag" results (from approved CL vendors)
