Hey all,
I was flipping through the channels and stumbled upon this informercial for Liquid Leather (a quick-fix solution to repair holes in your leather appointed car interior). After being victimized in numerous occasions over other such As-Seen-On-TV products (Shawala my ass!), I was curious to know whether any one of you fine folks have ever tried or seen a demonstration of this miracle gel?? It appears to be quite a cheeky product and would be a welcomed addition to my collection of car care tools if it yielded positive results. "Apply and Let Dry" anyone??

Don't buy it

Hey there dishwasha.

What are the chances of having someone on this board being able to answer your question? Well, here I am. It's just coincidental because I just recently had someone tell me about this so called miracle gel, and let me be the first to tell you that it DOES NOT work. In fact, the gel discolored the leather on this person's jacket. I saw the results myself, and all I had to say was sorry for the poor lady who was stuck with that problem. Don't fall for As-Seen-On-TV products. Only buy those things when they become available at Wal-mart or something, just in case you need to return it.

Yeah, bought some QuicknBrite for $30. Showed the stuff removing ink from fabric. Girlfriend gives me a new pen that leaked a big spot in a white dress shirt pocket. Gave the QnB a shot, it spread the ink ALL over the shirt, WTF, I let the shirt soak in the stuff overnight but no luck. Not exactly the results shown on TV.

End of last year Rich (my hubby) buys me an expensive pair of sunglasses. About a week later, and in a rush, I pop them into the side pouch of my purse, only to discover later, that was the pouch my nail file was in. The left lens was covered in scratches - I was so mad with myself, and didn't know what I was going to tell Rich. As it so happens, that evening I'm watching TV, and see the SCRATCH-BE-GONE ad. So, for $9.95 I order it and hope that my problem will soon be gone - Yeah right. Biggest load of crap I've ever seen. It's like a black wax crayon and did absolutely zilch to the scratches on my sunglasses!!! Buyer beware.....
