Default Safely Reparing Light Scratches on Wheels

I have an 08 ES 350 with some light scratches on the sides of the spokes. They are the standard factory seven spoke alloy wheels. They look as if they are clear coated.

Is there any way to safely remove the scratches? They are light scratches and look as if they could be polished out. I am thinking about using the Kit heavy duty scratch remover (paste) in the yellow plastic container to remove the scratches but I am not sure if it is safe to use on the finish.

Can you post some pictures? If your wheels are clear coated, then you can treat it like paint. It can be polished or compounded if need be. It all depends on the severity of the scratch.

I'll see if I can post some pics. I took some pictures today of the wheels and the scratches were nearly impossible to see from the photos.

These are the pics of the wheels. There are some scratches visible in the last two photos, but the camera does not do justice to the scratches visible to the naked eye.

Those should easily be polished off with Menzerna Super Intensive Polish

If you really want to go all out and clean and protect your wheels, polish all wheels with Menzerna Super Intensive Polish, then wax using Rejex. This will help reduce pesky brake dust adhesion to the wheels.

Also, by the looks of the inside of your wheels, may I suggest the ez detail brush. It will help clean inside the wheels and wheels wells with ease. Here's a simple kit that has everything you need to clean your wheels:

Thanks for the help and suggestions. I just might try that Menzurna Polish to remove the scratches.

As for the swissvax wheel brush, is it bendable? I was wondering if it will bend to get behind the spokes inside the wheel.

No..swissvax brush is for cleaning face of the wheels, lug nuts, calipers, etc. The brush you'd also want that does bend and get inside the wheels is the ez detail brush..it's part of the basic wheel kit as well.
