I was browsing through Autoblog and came upon this post about a Foil Tape Paint Job which is actually just a film they put over your car that won't damage your paint... Here is the link:
thats effing sick! and probably WAY cheaper than paint. if anyone knows of a place in the northeast that does this and how much they charge let me know
I like it, but the only thing that worries me is durability, and the seal. How long till it dries up and starts wrinkling off? How long till it turns to garbage? How easy is it to scratch it?

Yea saw this in a movie didnt really know it was production ready. They used it in the movie Taxi with Queen Latifah Jimmy Fallon and that hot supermodel Gisele Bundchen. They had taped a 7 series dont remember if it was blue to red or vice versa but Gisele and her 3 woman crew were being chased they pulled off road...stripped the car of the film and themselves and moved on...I thought then that it was a great idea but figured it was movie "magic".
Yeah sign companies have been doing this for years, just with logos and graphics on it. Now why would someone want to do it on a new or nice car is beyond me.
