Hello Lexus Community!

I was curious to know if anyone would suggest that I plasti dip my wheels as they are becoming rather chipped as they age. These wheels are on my 2000 ES300 so they are 14 year old OEM wheels. Is plasti dipping them a good option? Is there anything else i could do to protect their condition, or make them look better?

plasti dip will definitely help cover up some of the damage. you can always refinish the wheels but it can be costly if you don't have the tools yourself. it would need to be sandblasted then refinished. so plasti dipping is a cheaper option just make sure you do it right there are plenty of DIYs on how to do it. hope this helps!

Any of the paint lifting up will be highlighted when sprayed with plastidip. Your best bet to make them somewhat perfect is to remove the bubbles/tears on it. Good luck!

Don't feel too sad. Most wheels look like that on cars that go through winter salt for that long.
