Default Chrome + Winter

Now we all know it's not good to have chrome in winter... but what about the GS's stock 17" 5 spoke chrome? I'm using it for my winter wheels as I don't have other wheels for winter and I'm planning to get different summer wheels....

How do I keep the chrome good in winter if it's possible?

Also, what about the chrome trims on the car?

Keep going to the car wash every other day. You gotta keep the salt off of the chrome if you plan on driving them thru the winter weather.

Unless you don't care about your wheels, I would advise against leaving chrome wheels on in snowy climates. Road salt will erode the finish and start pitting quickly.

i don't care too much about the stocks, i might sand them down and paint it black if it's eroding....

Wax.
I use Meguiar's wheel wax. Although it's not recommended that you ride on chrome during winter but those are your only wheels. I'm still have my stock chromes on right now since the winter has been mild so far but I have my winter wheels and tires on standby.
