Default Touchup Paint

Any suggestions for a novice on blending or smoothing touch up paint spots? My LS is black with no swirls but a lot of touch up areas.

Thanks

touching up is merely for slowing/stopping rust in rock chip areas. it can be used any way youd like, and you having a black car makes it much simpler than those with metallic paints, as the more you touch up, the more it shows up. as we all know, touch up is just that TOUCH UP, no clear coat involved. as far as blending in your (im guessing) many rock chip spots, i dont know a solution for you other than to strip the hood and start over, or just keep on touching up. if its something you can live with, youll save $$$ in the long run. but again, touch up is TOUCH UP. if you want 100%, looking at new hood or stripping , repairing, and repainting you old one. never hurts to shop around for a good hood on ebay, just be weary of A/M hoods, as they tend to show greater gap diffs between fender/hood and H/lL/ hood lines.
