Default getting wax off the plastic

I'm new to waxing and accidently while applying wax, some of it got on the plastic portion of my car, now there are little white streaks, I know hard rubbing with water will work but is there an easier alternative...wax I'm using is Zymol.. any advice is appreciated

Dishwashing liquid and hot water will remove wax easily.

A little trick to do in the future is to mask off any rubber trim with masking tape (not too sticky) before waxing. It is not too time consuming and will keep the plastic and rubber pieces stain free from the bleaching effects of compounds used to keep paint nice and shiny. There are a number of products out there you can use, Mothers, Meguiars, ect. Pick one, if it works, stick with it.

Thanks for the tip! Most of their products work very well so I am surprised this one didn't.

It is much easier to use a wax that doesn't stain trim and just wipes off.
