Default Oxy Clean Pwnz me and my SC!

So i was changing my fuel pump ecu today and decided i had been spending too much time with my bimmer lately. It was time for a cleanup on isle 3.

After a quick run to the store, and $8 later, my Sc looks like brand new. yep..$8

See what you think!

First, i had a bad window seal that was allowing the water to get in (fixed that).

Then i tested some carpet on the rear tranny well. look closely at the spot nearest the center console where the brush did not get when i passed it over the carpet.

Once i had gotten results that were amazing, i decided to do the ever so badly abused floorboards that haven't been treated in forever.

I'll go ahead and stick this thread in detailing.

For the record, the SC hasn't really been driven much in 6 months So it hasn't been cleaned.

make sure you use warm water guys. Thats when oxy works best.

Be sure to vacuum it dry with a wet vac or an extractor. Dont want any funky smell from leaving it wet now do we =)

it gets in through the external lower window seal, however if the rubber surrounding the glass isn't good, it can do it that way also.
