Default Projector Headlight Problem

I just bought a 96 Lexus ES 300 about a month ago and the projector headlights are real hazy at the top of the lens. I can't really tell if it is on the inside or outside. Does anyone know a way I can clean or fix them? Here is a pic of on the headlights.

If the dulling is on the inside, I don't know what to tell you.

If the problem is outside, you can use a rubbing compound, followed by a polishing compound (any brand of either will work) and some elbow work, and you can usually make them look great that way. In really bad cases, wetsanding first will be needed, followed by the compound and polish to restore clarity.

The wetsanding cuts the dull plastic out pretty quick, and the abrasive polishes remove the wetsanding haze and make them crystal clear again

Try the compounding first, and only resort to wetsanding if you must. 1500 grit to 1000 grit wetsandpaper would be about you want to use if you have to go that route. Good luck.

I had good luck with minor hazing with Meguiar's Plastic Cleaner followed by their Plastic Polish. Took some elbow grease, tho.

I had pretty good success with 3M Plastic Cleaner and 3M Plastic Polish. You can find them at Napa. It restored the optical clarity to the plastic. If the hazing and scratches are really bad, start out with a rubbing compound then follow it up with the 3M products (or other brands of plastic polish.

Haven't tried this yet, but it looks promising.

I can't see your pics but I just used meguiars regular polish, the stuff that comes in the red bottle. It works like a wonder.
