Pretty complete listing. I may one day copy all of the files and post them to www.scribd.com for permanence.

Question Engine Air Filter

Has anyone replaced their air filter DIY? Where does it live under the plastic covers? I assume it's not that difficult.

Never mind, I figured it out myself. Didn't realize there were two air filters under there. Luckily I ordered 2. Really simple to do. Just remove V8 cover by lifting gently and they're both right there on top of the engine.

depending on which side you have to turn your wheels away from you or just take the wheel off so that you can pull away the plastic fender liner which requires removing the push pins move that back and your bulb access is right there..

Sounds easy enough.

So no detailed write-up out there?

There's a write-up by CJitty on these forums. Google search for it within the CL site.. It's actually really easy according to him. I'll have to see for myself when I get my car.lol

Default HID/Low beam Headlamp Replacement Instructions

NOTE: All HID bulbs should be replaced in pairs to ensure equal bulb life and even light ouput.

You have to remove the wheels and then the fender lining to replace the bulbs. This is how the service manual shows replacing the bulbs, use a flat head to remove the liner tabs. You can do it, might take you 20 mins ea. or less. But you can turn the wheel pull the liner back and reach in to replace them if you have done this before as well.
