"Improved" V-LED flank bulbs don't fit puddle lights?
when u say you dremeled off the tabs a bit did you dremmel all the tabs off and which way did dremmel them? did u demmel off the tabs in such a manner that it wouldn't sit as deep into the housing. ( the side of the tab that closest to the plug and away from the end of the led strip?)
Make sure you take the little rubber weather strip off so you don't accidentally cut it!
I tried this first but it is actually more difficult than it looks. I don't have a clamp or anything that could hold the piece down so it was hard to do while holding. Dremeling is much easier (and quicker) if you have one.
Thanks for the tips!! Will be doing this next week. I heard the same is true for the door lights now as well due to the new longer style VLED. Did u have this issue as well?? Any tips to fix that to work with the new flank VLEDs

No need to modify if you get JLC. The pics doesn't show the puddle but it does show the coutesy which is bascially the same bulb and it fits in both in either or perfectly. The ned VLED will not work unless you modify it which is probably something one may not want to do.

Will the V-LED lights fit the IS250 stock connector? or do you need a kit for it? Cause on the site it said it does not fit Lexus IS puddle light applications.. I am confused! Post pictures too! It would help!

do the flank bulbs from v-led's posted are only having fitment issues with the puddle lights? Or is it also for the vanity/courtesy door lights also since it's the same part number/bulb?
I purchased all the bulbs from brociouz thread on the same day so I figured i'd ask before I attempt the installs without the correct bulbs.

It's going to affect the others because they only can be a certain length.
Can tell you right off the bat, it's not going to fit the coutesy door lights. I have JLC's 5-SMD T-10 and it's just a tight fit. The new flank, won't work without modification.

My friend did the install on mine today. The tab on the puddle light can be easily taken off with a razor blade. By taking off one tab, you can get a 1/4 turn and the LED sits nice and tight there. I couldn't get a full turn like most of the people posting before me. Only sad part was it was cold and we broke my passenger side mirror lens, which is the heated version. Does anyone have one of these because from the dealer they're EXPENSIVE!
With the courtesy lights, we just modified the housing and they went right in.
Other then that, all the LEDs look great!

Has anyone tried this one for the puddle lights? Dosent look quite as long as the V-Led.

Do you have a better view of the puddle lights? Like a side view? I'm thinking of buying those. I personally don't want to do any cutting or drimmeling. lol
