Default For those running Falken FK-452's

Just curious if anyone here is running a 275/30R20 on a 20x11? I just want to see how much of a stretch is it. I know the FK-452's fit a little more narrow than most tires and I'm trying to decide if I'm going to go 255/30 or 275/30

My other option is to run 225/35 front and 265/30 rears, but it looks like I would be limited to the Continental Extreme Contact DWS, which is a fantactic tire but fits a little wide, maybe wider than the 275 Falken

i'm running 275/30(not falken452) on a 12" and it's a mild stretch. I think even the 452 275/30 on the 11" should be little to no stretch

I'd stay the hell away from stretching 452's. I haven't seen one instance where they haven't failed in the first 2k miles. I've seen 3 sets of non-stretched 452's fail in the first 50 miles.
Try another brand.

I had a pair of 235/35/19 falken fk452 on a 10.5 and the whole sidewall bubbled up within the first month of driving on it. I run achilles or nankang now with no problems so far. Plus they are dirt cheap so I can replace them if anything went wrong

Ya but the reason I asked FK-452's is because they are a little more narrow than most tires. I know this because I work in a tire shop. I've seen 275/30 mild stretch on a 10" which is weird because it should be stretched at all and doesn't with other brands.

I dont mind Falken's I've had a few sets with no issues. I just make sure the ones I have carry the XL (Extra Load Reinforced sidewalls) and make sure the load index is not too low which is more likely to cause bubbles

I've put a 275/30 FK-452 and Achilles on the same 10" wheel and the Achilles fit wide. I would actually like to run them but unfortunately they don't make a 255/30 or 265/30

I've had no issues with my FK452's. 225/35 on 8.5 and 235/35 on 10.

I finally found a photo of a FK452 275/30 on a 11" wide rim. It looks like it might be enough for me, but still wanna try 255/30... Dammit why cant Falken make a 265/30ZR20

If I go 255/30 rear I migh pick a little wider fitting tire like the Hankook Ventus V12 Evo. Hankooks are a little more forgiving. Here is a 235/35 on a 11".

I basically want the most stretch without having a ridiculous looking stretch like the tire holding on for dear life and not even touching the bead
eg: (no offense to owner if he's on here)

I decided to go with 255/30ZR20 Hankook Ventus V12's. I'll post up some photo's once I have them installed on the rims

1. Falken FK452's run way wider that normal.
2. They suck for stretching, the sidewalls are weak and they will bubble.
