dont know why the discreet roof rail on the US version.

Did you noticed that Toyota version of GX460 on pictures got some some low sitting side moldings and all of us with non-premium got nothing.

That molding is not standard on the Toyota.

It must have been added, along with all of the stripes, to the Prado in those photos.

I ended up buying the Lexus crossbars because they were rated slightly higher (weight) than the Yakima. I purchased the Yakima Skybox 21 (the largest that they make). I have used it many times back and forth on trips and have never had a problem with either the racks or the carrier. I bought the Yakima box (the black one that is slightly textured because it is stronger than the Thule...you can actually stand on it and the REI guy did to prove it).

No, I bought them from my dealer in VA. If you are really in need and can't get from a dealer, Yakima does make crossbars that will fit.

Correction - the previous post was made in July 2010 thus selling them in August means they became available for sale in August 2010. This means they're available now! I have removed the comment as to not to confuse anyone else.

The crossbars are available for sale and are in stock.

I hope that helps,
Darrel

...discounts are already built into the website with your Club Lexus account profile. In other words, there's no need for using a promo code at checkout because we've already entered it for you!

Log in to your account first and then search for the product. You should see the discounted price. Make sure your account is linked in to your username on CL.

The price you should see is $179.08

i ended up buying this and it's a good build quality.. only minor complaint is that the holes for the hooks are too small and you will have to buy thin hooks if you want to tie anything down.
