Hello all, ttbouy here!
Hello everyone. Just purchased an 1994 SC 400 a month ago. I am looking to modify somewhat. New rims/tires, cold air intake, exhaust, new leather interior, and audio/video/NAV system. I can't to show you all the progress. I will post a picture each time something new is done. I'm glad to be a part of the club.

I purchased this beautiful 98 SC 400 about a month ago. It had 99K on it and looked to be very well taken care off. Some small maintenance items but nothing large to fix. I use it as a daily driver and I travel frequently through ND and MT. It's a blast to drive at high speed and in this part of the country there is plenty of room to do so. I plan to keep it stock, garaged for the winters. I see there were only about 2200 SC400's manufactured in 1998 and this color (rose quartz) really intrigues me. First, it seems to change hues depending on the sky. It will go from steel grey to purple. Second, I wonder if this car is an instant collector. With so few SC's made this year plus I have yet to see this color on on the forums or and used car ads. I'd be curious to know how many were painted this color in 98. With new struts and bushings I think the car is ready for its next 100,000.

I am a new owner. I upgraded from a Honda Civic that was totaled by a drunk driver crashing in to it when it was parked on the street at night to a 94 SC400 in Midnight Indigo Pearl. The vehicle has 96K all of its maintenance records. Bought it from the 2nd owner who had purchased it in 1997 as a lease return. I am loving the car.

New to the SC modding scene!
Hi everyone!
Recently started doing more mods to my SC and just wanted to stop lurking around the forums and say hi.
It's a '92 SC300 5-speed in Midnight Indigo Pearl with 148k miles. It was an upgrade from my previous '89 Camry that was stolen, I found it abandoned in the middle of LA
Anyway, I'm from the OC area and hope to join you guys in the SoCal meets soon!
What I've done to it so far:
1. replace trunk lifts (read the awesome DIY from this forum)
2. replace power steering pump
3. Lowered it a bit
4. Tint
5. Full on tune-up
Here's some pics!

3. hahaha I ripped out the antenna as it was broken, now it's just an uncovered hole =(

6. unfortunately, someone did a hit and run on its rear passenger side

8. being a '92 model, it has all the common SC problems (dead needles, burnt spot on rear view mirror, antenna motor, leather wear, cracked dash vents, cracked window sill, worn front suspension bushings, and cloudy headlights)
That's my SC! I joined CL because I know I'd get a lot of quality advice and opinions on what to do with my SC and hopefully I can give back to the community too!

New on the scene!!!
What's going on everyone! I'm new here on lexus club and I just wanted to pay my dues and say what's up to everyone. I lurked around these forums for a while now and i've finally decided to take the plunge and pick up an sc. Now i gotta find one, hahaha! I've had several 240sx's, but i'm over it. They are great cars, just far too much hype and much to easy to steal. Anyways, if you guys have any suggestions on what year sc I should pick feel free to shoot me your opinion. I'd really appreciate it cause i'm looking. Looking forward to joining the ranks!

Just got my SC3 last week...Its a 92 5-speed
So far I have ordered 8000k HIDs, and removed the mufflers. Plans include a 1jz, exhaust redone, coil overs, 18x9 and 18x10 wheels (after looking at the wheel thread for days, lol) and repainted.

Hello just recently purchased a 92 sc400 after about a week of reading reviews, so far im impressed, i just recently had a 01 mustang gt so while its not my first luxury car its my first luxury sport car, and lexus, look foward to gathering very useful info

New SC owner in SoCal...
What's up, everyone?
Name is Jimmy...from the 626/909 area of Southern California. Just picked up a '98 SC300 from another CL member in Cerritos.
This is my first time owning a Toyota/Lexus product...so far so good (3 weeks). Not that I didn't like Toy/Lex...just more of a Nissan/Infiniti guy. Had quite a few Nis?inf...with a couple of Mazda's in between.
Anyways, hoping to meet some cool peeps here...and more importantly, learn a few things about my SC from those of you whom have already messed aroumd with yours. Also, really really hoping to go on some cruises...not too much into the parking lot meets, I wanna be rolling! SoCal SC'ers...where do y'all kick it at?
Looking forward to meeting/getting to know you all. (geez...this is sounding like a personals ad, doesn't it? hahaha!!!)

Hey whats up everyone? New here and I will be picking up my SC400 this weekend. It's a '93 with 100K and I'm getting it from a friend of mine that's going to Japan so he no longer needs it. This will be my second Toyota, my other being a '89 MKIII Supra that I still have. All I have for now is a *****ty cellphone pic, but I will have more up after I get it and clean it up. It looks it has a Vertex kit on it, but I'm not sure if it's a replica or not.
