Tom's style (rep) front lip for ISF - $100 OBO
Located in 92782 (Tustin, CA)
For sale: one (1) Tom's style replica front lip for ISF
bought this for $200 from JohnMorgan a few weeks back and mounted it to my ISF. a little over two weeks later, while going about 70-ish on the freeway, the front part of the lip dislodges itself from the bumper, tearing out three self-tapping screws near the front edge of the lip and cracking the side edges, not to mention scraping the front underside. after limping the F home, I took it off and decided not to put it back on - even though I had bought larger self-tapping screws and washers AND heavy-duty double-sided tape.
current condition: needs lots of work - rock chips along the front edge, large patches/areas of heavy scraping on the underside, cracked side edges, heavy scrapes/chips on the front corner edges - but it is still in one piece. Perfect for someone who knows how to work with fiberglass and/or carbon overlay or wants to try their hand on working on something like this.
color: it was painted white when I bought it from JohnMorgan, but it was originally clear-coated carbon fiber overlay on fiberglass. again, some of the paint has chipped, and the large patches/areas of heavy scraping have scraped it down to the carbon fiber overlay. The front corner edges have been scraped down to a mix of carbon fiber overlay and fiberglass.
it still mounts up, but it's not perfect by any stretch of imagination. fitment is okay - a 6 to 7 out of 10.
$50 OBO, cash + local pick-up. first person with a reasonable offer and cash in my hand can take the lip and do as he/she wishes. i'm moving out of my rental around the end of June and simply don't have the storage space for this.
