People believe that that's the way it works... but its NOT.
When you receive the tuner you are required to "marry" it to you vehicle. Marrying it makes the OBD tunner to only work on that one specific vehicle.
In order for anybody else to be able to use the tuner, it needs to be UN-MARRIED... Unmarrying the tuner with your vehicle returns the stock tune to your vehicle AND brings the tuner back to a clean slate to be able to tune another vehicle and start the marrying process again.

And that's the worst part.

FYI, I hope everyone understands why the OBD programming devices are "married" to a particular car.... If they were not, one guy would buy a tune and then pass the device around to his nearest 30 friends

There is a misunderstanding here on how the tune works...
Larry has our tune in his car... in fact he has a tuned intake, so unless he removes it he cannot even revert back to a stock tune or the car will not run without the reverting to the stock intake.
We flashed Larry's car at a track event last year. We did so out of convenience to him. We also gave him an OBD device so he could perform updates himself without driving over to us... but that device is still married to his car. He cannot sell the device unless he flashes his car back to stock, otherwise we will have to provide the purchaser of the device with a tune for $150... which we cannot do.
