Default FS: ISF KW V3 Coilovers!

Hey guys,

I'm selling my KW V3 coilovers off My 2010 ISF. I installed the coilovers probably sometime in December of 2012. Since then I probably put 15k miles or so onto the coilovers. Never tracked the car, no crazy canyon runs, etc.. I baby my car. These coilovers were installed by VIP Auto Salon back in the good ol days.

The coilovers are still on the car, they are a little dirty but I will clean them up before shipping them to you, making them look new again. The only reason I'm selling these is to join the dumb dark side and go with air bag suspension since I never plan on tracking the F. (Too expensive and too much liability on the track).

The KW are still on the car and I will take them off ASAP if I get any serious offers, I do have the original box and everything.

These go for $2900 + shipping online.

My price is $2300 + shipping. OBO.

You can buy these new for $2400. Reasonable for $1700 or less used, not $2300 with 15000 miles.

Or is this just ISF tax?

Where did you see them for $2400?

I did a few searches and the asking price today is $2900. I think the price went up over the years. Aside from VIP Auto Salon offering it at $2665, the regular price is looking at $2900 for a new set

Nah they can be had all over the place for $2600 and if you think that 15000 miles only warrants a discount of $300 then clearly you should pick them up.

http://sportcompactwarehouse.com/pro...s/Model/IS%20F

$2563

Amazon.com: KW Coilover Kit V3 35257003: Automotive Amazon.com: KW Coilover Kit V3 35257003: Automotive
$2580

This is amazon for gods sake. If you call any of these places you can pick them up even cheaper. Source: I buy KW's for all my cars which is why I clicked this thread. On the other hand if my used parts somehow retain such an absurd price because ISFs are ISFs, I'm going to have to laugh.

I'll say this right now: Interested buyer at a realistic price. If I can really sell my used KW's once I'm done with them for over $2000 then I might just hit up one of my vendors and pick up a new set for $2300-2200 my cost.

I don't remember what I paid couple of years ago so I did a quick Google search and saw the $2900 price everywhere, so I will drop the price, I'm not trying to make money, in my perspective that was $600+ less since it is OBO, I didn't treat the suspension harsh in anyway, all highway cruising.

If your cost at a vendor is $2200, then why don't you buy new instead of saving a couple of hundred bucks?

I hear you, I'm not trying to lowball you or impede sale or anything, its just I've bought plenty of both new and used suspension and on any other car it takes a bit more of a hit than $300. This includes BMWs and the ilk as well.

The market will set the price. If no hits at this price, obviously it's too high.

Josh, you are exactly right, most people will buy new at this price difference. I've subscribed to this thread waiting to see if the used 3yr old coilovers will drop a decent amount. I didn't want to lowball.

Some people have nothing better to do than post up and drive people's price down. If you think the price isn't fair, be respectful and PM him your argument. Then he can choose to drop the price (like he did)

Oh and if you're interested and his price is supposedly the same as your vendor, why not GTFO and buy a new set?
