Default Bay Area FS: GReddy Evo 3 Exhaust $150 obo

MODS CLOSE PLEASE.

I got my GReddy Evo 3 Exhaust for sale. Reason why its so cheap is cause of the gaps between the connection from the axle back to the midpipe. Im sure a reputable muffler shop can fix it.
Exhaust has dents and scratches and maybe a hole on the left side muffler from being too low.

Right side muffler

First connection from left muffler to right side

Gap from midpipe to axle back

My midpipe to muffler gap was pretty big too. It took some fenagling to stop it from leaking.

lolol I was thinking about fixing it myself but Ima just go straight pipe instead and extend the pipes out more.

How do you fix that leak? Cut off that gasket and weld a new one on?

Gaskets came out easy, I feel as if I should add extra gaskets just to fill the gap.

I actually had to buy new stainless steel bolts from my local home improvement store since the OEM bolts limit how far you can tighten them. I also bought a new gasket and problem solved.

Also worth mentioning is that I reused the OEM bolt springs. Why you ask? I can't really tell you, I figure that it keeps the bolt under tension while the exhaust vibrates with the engine. If you choose to go this route, you'll have to put a washer on the new SS bolt to keep the spring in place. Make sure you buy long enough bolts b/c compressing the spring to get the bolt through the flanges was a bugger.

I thought the gaskets are welded onto the axle back. How did you solve the problem by buying new gasket? It's been a long time since I installed my exhaust. I can't remember but I have the same gasket issue.

I was able to compress it together, gaps arent as big as before, but the gaps are towards the middle of the connection instead of where the bolts are. That's gonna be a ***** to squeeze back together.

Nope, the only gasket I have are the midpipe and driver side exhaust connections. I just popped them off with a flathead lolol

The midpipe to muffler gasket is a pretty thick donut-shaped gasket with what looks like a wire meshing intertwined in it. Technically, you can re-use the gasket according to Lexus. However, my original gasket was compressed quite a bit as compared to the new one. I figured it make a better seal. It is quite expensive though at $30 from the dealership.

The old gasket should pop right off with a flat head screw driver.
