FS: 2008 Lexus IS-F Differential *PICS*

Good Evening All-

I have an item for sale, please see the description and price below.

In regarding this item, please communicate with me via Private Messages, as it does get confusing trying to check a thread and PM's at the same time.

I accept payment via PayPal/Cash, shipping for this item would need to be discussed to see if feasible.

I have sold to users on the Club Lexus forum before (kindly search my name)

1. DESCRIPTION: Used OEM 2008 Lexus IS-F Differential

This is the OEM Differential that came on my 2008 IS-F.

It came off my car when my car had ~36,000 miles on it. The car has not been involved in any accidents.

The differential has surface rust because I live in Northern Chicagoland.

I replaced this differential with a new differential from a 2010 Lexus IS-F.

This 2008 Differential DOES NOT have Limited Slip.

As I understand it, it will fit the second generation IS350's, however the gearing will be taller than the OEM IS350.

One could use this on this as a shell for putting in an aftermarket LSD to your IS-F and then swap them in an out, so your car is not out of commission.

I am selling it at the price that the local scrap yard will give me for it. If it does not sell I will junk it. I am just trying to clean up my garage.

Also if I do not respond right away to PM's please be patient, my wife is pregnant with our second child and due any day now. :)

COST: $50.00 Picked Up; If you would like it shipped I would have to figure out how to go about that, as this probably weighs 70 lbs; You would pay 50.00 + Cost of Shipping. (which would probably easily be over 100.00 dollars)

a little of topic but how much was the 2010 IS-Fdiff as I had a torsen on my 250 and I want to also add a diff to my 350.

Gville350 04-03-13 11:21 AM

^Also interested in the '09+ IS-F diff mod and the price you got yours for and where if possible. I know there are Toyota/Lexus yards that specialize in those parts; so if that's the case, I'd like to know!

Thanks!

See here guys:

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...eted-pics.html

If you have an IS350 you will need to change the gear ratio of the rear end, I believe the F has around a 2.94 ratio whereas the IS350 has a 3.73? So if you put an 2010+ IS-F diff right into your car you will be slower.

Gville350 04-03-13 05:51 PM

^Thanks, and the 350 has a 4.09 rear ring. But like you've got posted on your thread there, IS-F owners have been able to upgrade to the 4.09 ring gear and matching pinion. So we in theory should be able to do the same. :)
