I just took this key fob card to the dealer to get it programmed and the tech said he couldn't get it to respond to their system. They're thinking its a bad remote... I'm hoping you resolve this issue with me. Check your PM
This credit card key also needs the mechanical key as well cut specifically to your VIN. Also, it will only work on cars manufactured after aug 2008......hope this helps!
You sure its not compatible? I have one with my 06 IS.
I emailed Sewell Lexus and asked them if they had this issue before on any of the Key Cards they have sold. Apparently, the 2008 ISF uses a different part number than the one sold by Raymond and Kramer (671gs & Kramer). This smart card key will be going back up for sale, but now knowing that it will ONLY work on the ISx that was manufactured after August of 2008, so to play it safe, it will work on the 2009-2012 models.
