I have a buyer who said they would put down a deposit for this the last few days but has been out of town and I haven't received anything besides texts so this is up for grabs.

I am requiring a non-refundable deposit of $100 to "reserve" the exhaust if you can't pay in full immediately. I'm fine with that and can give plenty of time but that $100 is basically a commitment to pay the balance.

They have different model numbers so I would assume no.

Was/is it much lighter than the stock mufflers?

Yes, it is lighter for sure, but I'm not sure by how much. The Borla is around 35lbs I believe but I haven't heard of anyone weighing the stock piece for reference. If they have then they prob weighed the full cat-back so it's not comparable (particularly because of the cats).

While under the car it was absolutely noticeable when wrangling exhaust hangers that the Borla was lighter though, especially the mufflers. There is a difference there.

On a side note, I'm not enjoying the stock exhaust at all. I find myself turning the music down a lot just to hear "something" in the lower RPM range now. I may resort to buying the cat-back before selling this.

Added price shipped based on some PM's.

May also entertain trade+$ offers if local. I've been after a nice HD video camera that can record good audio (like cars dyno-ing).

I've had several interested parties but no $ yet so it's still available.

It's easier to install in pieces since they're all lighter separated, but if you want to do it all at once you could. Besides the 2 bolts to the midpipe, there are only 2 clamps to tighten to install. You can do that part on the ground and then install at once, sure.

The benefit of loosening the clamps is that you can wrangle the exhaust hangers much easier. But even loose they won't just separate and fall apart so it's basically one unit to install either way. ;-)

I never took too hard of a look, but the stock midpipe either has a gasket in it or it's designed to keep a tight seal with the axle-back. Either way, I just unbolted, swapped, and bolted back and had no leaks. So this uses the stock/OEM situation.
