Looking for someone that's parting out an insurance by-back. I need the complete engine (and all accessories), motor mounts, tranny, driveshaft, exhaust manfolds (and b-pipe - all 4 cats), intake including MAF sensor, wiring harness & ECU, e-throttle pedal, and maybe few misc. bits.

This is for transplant into an older Toyota. PM me if you've got this or know of someone.

why not consider the 3UZ-FE from the sc430? are you class restricted or something? Arent too many things more satisfying than a V8 grumble.

Class restriction?? No, this is not for a race car. My daily driver is a beautiful "old" 1990 Cressida.



I love it, but the 7mge engine is an evolution of an engine designed about 35 years ago. It makes 190 HP and gets about 20mpg in 50/50 city/hwy driving. Any 2gr/3gr/4gr engine would be a vast improvement in performance or fuel mileage.

Such a swap has some technical challenges (especially making it smog legal in Calif), but I do that sort of thing for fun.

Thanks for the heads up. Pics showed it hit so hard the injector driver box on the front was crushed and one of the motor mounts was cracked. Whole engine was pushed back in the chassis a couple inches. I passed.

Still looking. 4GR would be fine too. Don't really need the extra 100HP from the 2GR.
