Up for sale is a very slightly used set of KSPort Kontrol Pro Coilovers with helper springs for $750 for local pickup in Simi Valley, CA. I originally purchased these coilovers new from eBay for $845 and the Helper Springs for $150 directly from KSport. The Helper Springs gives you the option to adjust the coilovers for a more progressive feel and makes it easier to adjust the preload.

Here's the story behind these coilovers....

I purchased these coilovers for my GS350 from eBay. Once I received them, I took them to the shop to have them installed. After they were installed, we took it out for a test drive and it didn't feel right. We got back to the shop and readjusted them and still didn't feel right. After readjusting them 5X, we figured out that they sent me the wrong coilovers. They were for an IS350. Once we realized they were the wrong coilovers, I had them removed and my stock shocks with Tein springs reinstalled. I contacted the seller and, of course, they wouldn't take them back because they were installed. That's the only use they got which was less than 10 miles.

The coilovers have a couple of scuffs and scratches from install and removal. One of the dampening adjustment ***** are missing (the guys at the shop misplaced it). This isn't a big deal since the coilovers come with 4 of them so there's 3 left. If you really wanted the forth ****, it can be purchased from KSport for $6.99.

You said these are the wrong coils for your GS, do you know if these will definitely fit the ISX50? RWD or AWD?

Also, you need a vouch as this is a high price item and you have no post on CL.

I know for certain that they are the correct coilovers for the IS350 RWD based on the Product ID (CLX12-KP) that I cross referenced with KSport's website. However, according to KSport's website, the IS250 has a different Product ID. They'll fit but they aren't made for it (Just like my late GS). I just realized that I didn't specify which IS it was for in the initial post. Sorry about that.

I recently joined the CL site and the only member I know doesn't have 300+ posts. My GS was totaled a couple of weeks ago and had some parts I needed to sell. My friend tried to sell the items for me but was told he couldn't sell for friends so I created an account. I'm not looking to ship this item so money/item exchange would happen in person at my home so the risk of anyone getting screwed over is pretty minimal.

I contacted KSport and they said that these coilovers were designed for RWD and cannot confirm if they work for AWD. So I would say no on AWD.

Hi,I'm not sure but Ksports coil springs (other models I own) have interchangable lower halfs to fit different years and models of the same brand and make. I've had my racing Honda acura 88 to 91 change lower part to fit a 96 to 05 civic. check Ksports for info if can't sell.

Thanks for the advice illest. My GS350 is long gone now. It was totaled in an accident last month so I really can't use them.
