Default WTB: IS-F spare

Before I go buy it from the dealer, maybe someone has an F that they've done a custom trunk on and don't want the spare. Hit me up with what you got!

Javy, I bought the spare wheel from Sewell and then got a tire from another place. Maxxis makes the same tire size as the OEM one. I can get you details if needed. You going with IS-F brakes?

Yeah, the tire is what will be difficult to find. Did you get the OEM 135/70/18 IS-F tire size from Maxxis? Please send me details if you have any. Thanks,

Yeah the tire size is nearly IMPOSSIBLE to find. I even called my local Maxxis dealer and they said they didn't produce one. Stumbled across a thread from a BMW forum and he listed the store he got it from. I had it shipped in from like Washington or something. I think it was around $100. I never test fit over my IS-F brakes (assume it'd fit), but it definitely fits in the spare tire spot of my 350!
I'll have to look around when I get home for the receipt.

Did some searching on Google for you. Les Schwab dealer in Oregon, WA. Apparently the same spare tire size is used on a CTS.

LOL. I just found my post from May of last year on this:

Maxxis T135/70R18 104M M9500N (#TP10655100),

I would strongly suggest calling this Les Schwab dealer. I spoke to several Maxxis dealers in my area and they swore to me that it did not exist, they were lying. Les Schwab handled the matter in 3 phone calls and it's being shipped to my door from the warehouse for less than $100. YAY!

LES SCHWAB
LAKE GROVE

DO NOT hesitate to let me know if you need any help if you are indeed going the IS-F brake route or if you need more help with the spare. You have helped me tremendously in the past and I'm just glad I can pay it back a little. If you need a sizer I could ship you mine for a test fit or something to make sure. Let me know!

Haha, I'm not getting IS-F brakes. I'll be keeping the Brembo 6/4 kit that's currently on my car.

No, the IS-F spare does not clear the Brembo or StopTech BBK. Since this has morphed from a classified listing into a discussion thread, it needs to be closed. I'll be started a related thread on this topic in the 2IS subforum soon.
