I think you're right. See below. I found this just doing a quick Google search, but it looks like the passenger side is the same.
GS3T, if you're hell bent on doing this, you might be able to do it if an 09'er is willing to either to swap buttons with you, OR swap the entire driver's door panel.
Now, you'll need to check to see if the colors of the door panels match and if the electrical hooks up the same on the two models, but it could be done if it matches. Don't get discouraged by taking the door panel off - it takes like 2 minutes. I've done it before.
