Precision Industries Torque Converter
Up for sale is a PI torque converter @ 2400 stall. I purchased this a few years ago from HI98GS, but never got around to install it. This thing is light as compared to the stock converter. It's 1.5 years old. New on l-tuned.com runs @ $989.00. http://www.l-tunedparts.com/product/?id=3. This is a great deal and mod, especially paired with the 3.76 torsen LSD differential or any higher gear ratio differential. Selling it for what I paid for @ $435 shipped. PM for any questions.
Update....Locals have priority, will ship anywhere in the us and canada for $35 insured.
Benefits:
The average gain on the 9 1/2-inch torque converter series is 2 tenths on 60 foot and up top 3/4 of a second on overall elapsed times in the 1/4 mile. The average horsepower gain is up to 40-50 horsepower to the rear wheels due to the torque multiplication and increased stall speed.
Precision Industries torque converters are purple in color when shipped and depending on the transmission operating temperature may change color and/or the tint of the purple may change. The color changes are used to help us evaluate and eliminate any potential overheating problems the customer may be experiencing.

Yes, I was planning to daily drive with it. There are plenty of guys with the PI torque converter that do. On my previous GS400, I had the Lextreme TC and daily dove with it and had no issues. I didn't install this due to change of plans of a 2JZ-GTE vvti manual swap in the near future.

Yes, it's compatible with the GS400 and the most common stall speed would be @2800 stall speed. The previous owner HI98GS chose the stall speed @2400, maybe he can chime in since it was his setup for 1.5 years, thanks.

Sorry guys, it has been really busy today, I tried to answer everyone's Pm's and emails. I forgot note that local has priority. If nothing goes through locally, then I will ship out to whom ever pm'ed or posted first, thanks.
