WTB: Lexus GS400 Motivated Buyer!
Hello everyone,
I am looking for a CLEAN, well taken care of and properly maintained GS400. I would prefer to find a spectra blue one, however I am open to all colors. The more options the better! I am located in the suburbs of Milwaukee, WI and would be willing to travel a reasonable distance for the right car/deal. If someone is looking for a fast sale and willing to sell their car at a reasonable price, please email me at ginoscrap@aol.com I am willing to spend up to 22k, possibly more for the right car.
Thanks!
Gino

Thanks for all the leads, I actually bought a Cinnabar Red 98 GS400 today, now it's time to get some 17" chrome wheels and tires and some HID headlights!
Thanks

My GS is as follows:
98 GS400, 121k miles, Cinnabar Red, Tan Leather, Nakamichi, 16" 5-spoke alloys, Heated seats, Traction Control, Moonroof, Hands-free phone on the steering wheel option, nice floormats, Pioneer XM Radio, Rear Spoiler, and in impeccable condition inside and out, other than the rear bumper needs refinishing. I have all paperwork and service records since it was new, and the car was really taken care of well. I also have the manuals, tool kit, and first aid kit. I am going to call lexus tomorrow to get the entire service history and get it in for an inspection. I drove the car 200 miles today and everything is just as I would expect it to be without a hitch. When this car gets a set of some nice wheels on it, it will make me even happier than it does now I assume. I really wish I could have found a Spectra Blue one, but this color looks real sharp as well! The price? $19000. Some feel its a little high, some told me I stole it, but to be honest, I think its a really fair price for a well maintained car that should be ready for another 120k miles of service. Oh yea, and I have the original window sticker to the tune of $49,000+ All in all, I'm happy! What do you guys think? (Don't worry, if you think I got hosed let me know, I have no feelings )
Thanks again
Gino

Another 120K miles is another 8-10 years of your life ahead. And everyone knows that your car would still be around ticking.
For $19K, with Nakamichi (love that) and all, I think you did well.
Why spend the $19K on a brand new 4-cylinder Camry when the GS will give you the "thrill" for the same price. Honestly, if you don't look at the odometer, you won't know that your Lex has that many miles. Just put it on Trip A and forget about her "past". Since it was also serviced regularly, her past must be enjoyable so ENJOY her now all the same!!

i don't think u got hosed at all , if it was a dodge or chevy i would think u got taken for a ride but 121K on a lex , maintained well and servc everytime u'll get a lot out of her, my friend had a avolon to the tune of 210k miles sold her and she was still kicking so with having the avalon's older sister u should b fine. ENJOY!!

EV ftw!!!
Congratulations GinoRin!!!
I am so glad to hear all of you say that 120K miles is nothing and GinoRin has another 8- 10 years of life left in his car!
I bought my Silver on black 99 GS400 late last year (HID's, Nak, spoiler, 17inch Chrome rims, heated seats) and it had 32K (that is not a typo - only 32K miles) and it cost me $28K ( I live in Ontario, Canada). I consider that I bought a brand new car as that is exactly how it feels and looks (absolutely no swirl marks in the paint). It was owned by some doctor and he pampered it - did all the service at his local Lexus dealer and then traded it in on a new one. I bought it from the same dealer and I am one happy camper.
As whitels said, put it on "Trip A" and forget it had a past! Well said!
