Default Throttle body

Anybody wanna trade me a regular throttle body set up for 2jzge for my drive by wire unit? Mine works but I'm doing turbo set up on my car and i don't want to bother with it. Located in Fontana let me know peeps.. Thanks

I'm confused, I was not aware that there was a US GS300 that came with throttle by wire. My 05 is cable driven (disconnect the cable and the car doesn't move).

your trans wont shift if u change out the fly by wire throttle body

i have a 2jz-ge throttle body. no throttle control motor.

Thanks for the info guys..I'm aware of the symptoms if I change to the non drive by wire...I'm going turbo and stand alone so its ok... 98 and up GS are drive by wire.

There are quite a few 2J throttle bodies on EBAY, might want to check there.

I have one here if you want to trade. It's a manual cable type throttle body and still has the IAC motor in it.

Just so you know, changing throttle body, PCM is gonna require reflashing.

He's using a standalone, so it doesn't matter. Non DBW actually makes it easier to run with the standalone.
