they did in fact make a different size ones for the 98-2000 BUT it will fit on the 2001+ models....
i had like 3 at one time and 2 were smaller than my 2001+ one.....thus allowing a bigger cup to be fit
or maybe it was bigger than my 2001+ one. either way they were different but they both work fine

well it fit 100% in MY car. i had 0 issues with it..i constantly had both in my center console and would switch them depending on the size of the water bottle i was drinking.i picked one of my remaining two i had and sent it to you. i honestly have no clue which one it was, if you would like to swap with me and you want to pay the shipping you can ship it back to me, i will keep yours & give you mine, and you can pay for the shipping back to you OR i can just buy it back from you? i kinda miss it the big dasani bottles fit with it so well

I just wanted to make others aware that the fit is not perfect. I also forgot to mention that because the fit is not perfect, the flip up door for the cup holder area gets jammed if you try to put the divider in there.

Well, that was not my intention to make you feel guilty or make you feel as if I felt jipped. For the most part, except for 1 transaction on this board (TTE Lip), everything has gone smoothly, but I will definitely take you up on the offer. You are saying that they both fit in your car, I will definitely mail it back to you then. Please PM me your address and I will include return postage.

as i said they BOTH fit in mine perfectly...if the door gets jammed as i told you,flip the divider around and it works out right. send it back though...by all means, its just funny to me but its all good
