Hello All,
up for grabs is my stock Nakamichi system, finally got tired of it and gutted it out of the 98' GS, Radio works EXCEPT for the TAPE DECK and some bulbs that are burnt out.
Amp works, so does the CD changer.

Radio - $25

CD Changer - $50

The stock speakers are available too if anyone wants those, $50 bucks for all 4. The SUB I'll let go for $50 as well, just gotta gimme a few cause I haven't gutted em' out yet.

If that display on the radio works and can be swapped with the pioneer I will definitely take it. Let me know on the LCD working and I'll see if it can be used in my unit.

I dont know if it can be swapped, but truthfully I don't think you can, I think the nak system displays slightly different information. somthing to look at..

BTW: What kinda rims are those? nice spin pattern.

I am intereasted in the whole system either as a straight purchase or trade. I just purchased a 2000 gs 400 used and it has a kenwood dvd/navigation/cd monitor/ radio. I guess it's top end but I prefer the look of stock. I also assume that even though my car did not come with the nak system from the factory if I replace with the whole system with yours it will work correctly?

What will you sell the whole unit for? which parts of the stereo don't work?

As I wrote in your PM I don't know if it would work, the stock pioneer system has different connections, I could be wrong though, the reason im saying this is cuz my friend has GS with out the nak system, and he was missing the wiring for the amp in the trunk, and some other things.. I have the repair and electrical manual, I'll look into it further.

My entire stock system was replaced with an aftermarket system by the previous owner. I have TWO amps in the trunk (one for the regular speakers and one for the sub that was replaced in the factory location with an Alpine sub). My goal is to return the car to a factory look and still have a reasonable stereo and I will sell off what I take out (kenwood head unit kvt 514, punch p200.2, rockford fosgate). So that is whay I would want your entire system to put it back to way it was (I even think the super warranty the previous owner purchased from best buy will have them unistall what they put in and return what came out/what I buy from you).

Nah, don't want to, that make the CD player kinda useless as the potential buyer would have to get another.

did you do a search? if I recall correctly I got mine for around 25 bucks from fleabay.

Interested in the radio and the amp. Radio looks same as my malfunctioning Nak in my '95 LS- think it's safe to assume that means both items are the same as mine??? <fingers crossed>
