Default Fs grex / alcon polished big brake kit bbk *bling* gold chrome

$2000 OBO!!!! PRICE!!!!!! IN REALITY YOU COULDNT BUY ONE CALIPER FOR THIS PRICE, THEY DONT TAKE CUSTOM WHEELS TO FIT, AND THEY OUTPERFORM EVEN THE AP RACING KITS! ! JUMP ON THIS DEAL!!![/U][/B][/COLOR]

For sale i have an extremely rare set of Grex Alcon JDM big brakes for the MKIV supra. It was never offered in the USA.
It is used and removed from a JDM imported Supra TT

The entire kit is EXTREMELY LIGHTWEIGHT... half the weight of the brembo bbk that i have on my lexus.

keep in mind these are used parts, not new, but in excellent shape.

this is the full front kit. all parts are below.
all the nuts, bolts, washers and clips have been cleaned as pictured.

ALCON RACE/STREET 4 (STAGGERED) PISTON CALIPERS
ALCON 335MM X32MM ROTORS W HATS.
ALCON SUPRA MKIV MOUNTING BRACKETS
ALCON BRAIDED STAINLESS STEEL BRAKE LINES (SPECIFIC TO THESE CALIPERS)
ALL BOLTS AND HARDWARE
AND THE BACK OF ONE OF THE OLD PADS CODE: RS4-2 BLUE FOR REFERENCE WHEN YOU ORDER NEW PADS.

I emailed the alcon guys for the retail price as of 4/2010 and this is what he sent me back (DONT KILL THE MESSENGER) $ 7500.00!!!! to me thats a bit much, but my price wont be anywhere near that high.

apparently these are very rare and hard to come by for the supra
this is what he sent below:

Four piston staggered bore design for better pedal feel and reduced pad taper. Machined from billet aircraft aluminum alloy for superior strength at high temperatures. Large pad area and volume for maximum braking performance and pad life. Titanium nitrided stainless steel pistons for reduced heat transfer. Ventilated piston inserts to reduce heat transfer through the brake fluid.

Piston Size - 1.750"/1.625"

Pad Thickness - 16mm

Standard Rotor Size - 335MM x 32MM

CALIPERS SKU

CAR7350J12ASL RADIAL MOUNT CALIPER 1.75" / 1.625" PISTONS FOR 1.25" ROTOR, LEFT $ 2626.00

CAR7350J12ASR RADIAL MOUNT CALIPER 1.75" / 1.625" PISTONS FOR 1.25" ROTOR, RIGHT $ 2626.00

ROTORS:

DIV2158X378GL 13.125" X 1.25" 48 VANE - LEFT Call for Pricing
and Availability
DIV2158X378GR 13.125" X 1.25" 48 VANE - RIGHT Call for Pricing
and Availability

HATS:

DIV2146X427GL 13.125" X 1.25" 48 VANE - LEFT $ 421.00
DIV2146X427GR 13.125" X 1.25" 48 VANE - RIGHT $ 421.00

since original price is 7500....with pads ... these pads are toast...so ill sell the kit for less than half of that knowing you have to buy pads.. rotors are still great! u can re-groove them if you want...or not.

pm me if you have question or are interested in purchasing. thank you.

shipping is $60, if you are paying via paypal and not moneyorder or check, add the 3%paypal fee.

thanks.

put brembo to shame.

take heat better, use titanium pistons, and steel seals. brembo uses rubber seals and steel pistons., they weigh far less because they are aircraft grade aluminum. brembos are much heavier, and since they cant deal with the heat as well, they will suffer from brake fade and will heat the brake fluid unlike the alcons.

i speak from experience. i have brembos (trd) 14" big brakes on my sc300 widebody tt in the build threads, they are great, but dont deal with the hard driving anywhere as well as these do.

these are the bigger version of the full race kit used on the is300/gs300 full race cars.

brembo uses steel hats, steel calipers, and steel mounts. (heavy and hold heat)

alcon uses ACG aluminum, titanium, and aluminum hats. they also use stagger pistons.

the order of aftermarket brakes has always been from my understanding

Alcon
AP Racing
Brembo
who cares lol

top of the food chain.
