They are $660-$700

And under $350, now that's wishful thinking

If you catch them before they send them to Jet Hot you can get an uncoated set new for low $400s.

Most people go ahead and buy new. They make a big difference on the 400s and a bigger difference on the 430s.

Well, I think I picked mine up for $500/shipped...used of course but only used for about a year...still looked damn near new too! $350 is REAL low. You should keep on the look out for somewhere $450-$550 used...and still, this would be very hard. GL!

How would one go about getting these so called headers without the Jet coating?

I need mine to look stock as possible.

he has no affiliation with s & s, although he did a lot of the footwork to make it possible for us v8 owners to get headers. you would need to contact s & s to ask when/if it's possible to get them uncoated.

I contacted S&S. If your want to order them, then you're going to have to call them since they don't sell it uncoated online. It's going to be $210 less than the current price.

According to jbrady, the inside and the outside are coated with Jet Hot. Judging from all the reviews of JetHot, most guys seems to have a cooler engine bay with the coating.

well i emailed jethot to get a quote on getting them coated

(waiting on a response)

also called these people

http://www.nitroplate.com/contact.html

(they said 185-250)

i also called these people....

http://www.classiccoatings.com/index2.html

they said 175

also these

http://www.thermaltechcoatings.com/new_page_4.htm

IF you get them coated u may as well get them coated from s&s just about. wonder how much it would hurt not to coat like under hood temp difference and how much difference it would be if u just wrapped them
