These are OEM harnesses, if you use these on a 01+ 2GS then you'll get the "light out" indicator on the dash, thanks for your question.
there is no "light out" indicator when you use this on a 01+ tail light but you will need to modify the reverse light plug because they are a different size. other than that, it's a direct swop.
